我的Linux生活日記 08-LVM-新增硬碟-LVM

情境敘述

新增一顆5GB的硬碟,並以 LVM ( Logical Volume Management ) 管理空間。硬碟檔案格式為 ext4。

新增硬碟步驟

  1. 虛擬機新增硬碟
  2. 取得硬碟資訊,確認實際要格式化那一顆硬碟
  3. 計劃分割表
  4. 新增 physical volume
  5. 新增 Volume Group
  6. 檢查 Volume Group 可以配置的大小
  7. 將 Volume Group 可用的空間加入 Logical Volume
  8. 硬碟分割
  9. 掛載硬碟

虛擬機新增硬碟

首先未虛擬機新增一顆5 GB 的硬碟吧!

虛擬機這邊我是用 kvm/qemu,下面是新增的步驟。

取得硬碟資訊,確認實際要格式化那一顆硬碟

  1. 取得目前掛載資訊
$ sudo df -h # 檢查目前的硬碟狀況

  1. 列出硬碟所有資訊
sudo fdisk -l # 列出所有的硬碟狀況

由 第一項 與 第二項 可以得知這次要處理的硬碟為 /dev/vdb

計劃分割表

  1. 執行硬碟分割
sudo gdisk /dev/vdb

錯誤訊息: gdisk: command not found

  • 錯誤資訊

  • 解決方式
sudo apt install gdisk

新增 physical volume

sudo pvcreate /dev/vdb1
  • 執行結果
$ sudo pvcreate /dev/vdb1

錯誤訊息: pvcreate: command not found

  • 錯誤資訊
sudo pvcreate /dev/vdb1
sudo: pvcreate: command not found
  • 解決方式
sudo apt install lvm2

新增 Volume Group

sudo vgcreate -s 16M test-pv-1 /dev/vdb1
  • 執行結果
$ sudo vgcreate -s 16M test-pv-1 /dev/vdb1
Volume group "test-pv-1" successfully created

檢查 Volume Group 可以配置的大小

sudo vgdisplay test-pv-1
  • 執行結果

將 Volume Group 可用的空間加入 Logical Volume

sudo lvcreate -L 4.98G -n test-lv test-pv-1
  • 執行結果
$ sudo lvcreate -L 4.98G -n test-lv test-pv-1

硬碟分割

  1. 檢查路徑
sudo lvdisplay
  • 執行結果

  1. 執行分割
sudo mkfs.ext4 /dev/test-pv-1/test-lv
  • 執行結果

掛載硬碟

  1. 新增掛載目錄
sudo mkdir -p /test-disk
  1. 嘗試掛載硬碟
sudo mount /dev/test-pv-1/test-lv /test-disk
  1. 檢查掛載狀況
$ df -h
Filesystem                        Size  Used Avail Use% Mounted on
udev                              479M     0  479M   0% /dev
tmpfs                              99M  3.0M   96M   4% /run
/dev/vda1                          19G  1.5G   17G   9% /

  1. 查詢硬碟UUID
sudo blkid
  • 執行結果
❯ sudo blkid 
/dev/mapper/test--pv--1-test--lv: UUID="9d305794-a97f-46a8-b484-6a59748915d7" TYPE="ext4"
  1. 寫入fstab
UUID=9d305794-a97f-46a8-b484-6a59748915d7 /test-disk ext4 defaults 0 1
  1. 重開機檢查
